Frequently Asked Questions
What does a typical training day look like?
The morning session will predominately focus on the theory required to test and tag, while the afternoon focuses heavily on learning to actually test and tag with a portable appliance tester. All of our classes are kept to a maximum of 12 people so that everyone in the room can get individual time and support from our trainer. Upon completing the course, you should be completely comfortable at testing and tagging on your own.
How is the Nationally Recognised course different to the Short course?
Both the Nationally Recognised and Short Courses are delivered in a face-to-face training session over 1 day. However, the major difference between them is that the Nationally Recognised Course has an additional self-paced OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) online component and is thereby considered the highest qualification (ASQA approved). The course you decide on will largely depend on your particular needs, but most students will complete the Nationally Recognised one for various reasons.
