Getting Ready For Online Training
Below is a list of suggested items that you will need to get ready for your course. You need at least 2 or 3 from each section with a total of no less than 10 items required for the practical assessment.
The more you have available to practice on, the more experience you will gain.
Don't worry if you think something might fail the test and tag process, failed items are a great example for everyone so please bring these along also.
Please also make sure you bring along some electrical test tags, as you will be required to fill them out and attach them to several of these items.

IMPORTANT: please ensure all blades, discs and bits are removed from all power tools prior to the practical session.
You will also need to make sure that you have access to insulation cloak or tin foil to use during testing.
Residual Current Device (RCD) Protection: please check your switchboard to see if you have RCD's fitted or if you have access to a portable RCD that you can plug your portable appliance tester into during the practical session.
